Prague, June 23, 2011

On behalf of the Czech Republic, Tomas Strasak of Dial Telecom will be taking part in an international panel discussion on the development of the stagnating sale of data services and the development of new services within Central and Eastern Europe.

Dial Telecom a. s., a leading Czech provider of telecommunication services, will be in a group of the most significant Czech ICT companies who will be meeting on June 27 and 28 to discuss further possible development and improvement in profitability of wholesale orders of data services in Central and Eastern Europe. On behalf of Dial Telecom, Tomas Strasak, a member of the board and the Sales Director, will speak in the panel discussion scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Data services, and especially from wholesale, remain the most profitable activity for a number of ICT companies (ASP, ISP, operators…). And this is despite the ongoing stagnation trend, influenced by the market consolidation after the serious economic crisis, as well as the ever decreasing fees in telecommunications. Representatives of significant Czech telecommunication companies, such as Dial Telecom a.s.,Telefónica (International Wholesale Services), GTS Central Europe, Level 3 Communications, Verizon Global Wholesale and others are also meeting next week in the Marriot Hotel in Prague to discuss this topic.

The annual Capacity Conferences, which also take place in various parts of the world, will this year be holding a conference for the CEE market between June 27 and 28, 2011 in the Marriot Hotel in Prague. The full program is available at  http://www.capacityconferences.com/.

Increase in profitability by developing new wholesale data services for CEE
The panel discussion on this topic starts on Tuesday, 28 June, at 10 a.m. Along with other things, the discussion will focus on the development of tailor-made solution for companies expanding in new markets, i.e. in the field of providing above-standard virtual private networks and dedicated networks for new customers.

Services based on cloud computing will be another discussion topic, specifically in relation to the best use of the developed infrastructure to support this, as well as in relation to measuring the market potential of so-called white-label offers, i.e. products or services made without the label of the producer for further possible branding by another supplier company.

The discussion will be moderated by Frank de Fremery, the owner and founder of the AISWAVE Company. Specialists from significant companies in the CEE market will be speaking on this topic in the panel discussion, namely:
