Capsa-Premier.cz, which was established as an association of Capsa.cz and the PREMIER system company, is the new owner of the number one service for sharing files on the market.
Dial Telecom, a leading Czech provider of telecommunication services, has sold the well-known server Uschovna.cz to Capsa-Premier.cz s.r.o. Dial Telecom specializes in providing services to business and wholesale clients and the Uschovna.cz service was just one of their additional products for end users.

The most significant new points on our network are the Palladium Business Center at Namesti Republiky and the City West Project. The City West Project will enable Dial Telecom to connect customers through the latest possible quality technology in three new business centers with a total area of 100,000 square meters.

The Dial Telecom has expanded its international SDH infrastructure. A new SDH connection to Ancotel in Frankfurt am Main has been created, where Dial Telecom a.s. has become a member of the Virtual Meet Me Room service. This service allows fast and effective implementation of SDH based connections with more than 150 operators from all over the world. At the same time, a new high-capacity connection to Bratislava was also created, connecting the Czech and the Slovak SDH Dial Telecom networks.

The telecommunication group has agreed to conclude a contract of purchase for the wholesale division of telecommunication services from Master Internet, s.r.o. This transaction will be realized in the first quarter of this year.
The previous year, 2009, saw Master Internet distinctly decrease the number of distribution points of its telecommunication network and, instead, concentrate on the services of its data centres. With this new agreement with Dial Telecom Group, it has finally decided to terminate its activities in the wholesale field.

A few innovations related to the IPv6 protocol occurred on the Dial Telecom network during summer and autumn 2009.
The IPv6 protocol resolves the basic disadvantage of the most used set of Internet protocols known as IPv4, or historically, as TCP/IP. It is expected that the IPv4 address will be exhausted in 2011, so obviously, any operators who want to be prepared for this future development cannot just stand aside, but are already currently implementing IPv6 in their networks.

The Dial Telecom company has upgraded its own optical network in the Brno-Vyškov-Prostějov – Olomouc segment to 2Gbps.
The ever-increasing traffic load and increasing customer requirements on this connection were the reason.

Dial Telecom has updated the process for providing the SLA (Service Level Agreement). To obtain service with an SLA it is no longer necessary to sign an addendum to the contract. An SLA will be provided merely by selecting this option in the product specification when the service is ordered.

In June and July, Dial Telecom’s metropolitan network was expanded with 16 km of micropipe bundles. An optical microfiber in the length of 4 km from the company’s headquarters (Corso Prague 8) to the DOS building was then introduced into one of these micropipes.
