LEASE OF WAVELENGTH
By breaking down the color spectrum of the light beam in the optical fiber, WDM technology enables the use of this fiber for transmission at capacities multiple times higher than before. Each wavelength – LAMBDA – offers the possibility of transmitting the same capacity point-to-point as would one fiber without the WDM technology. Dial Telecom operates a wide DWDM and CWDM network. In addition to the majority of significant Czech cities, this technology is also implemented at the international exchanges of Dial Telecom in Bratislava and Frankfurt. In cooperation with our long-term partners, it is possible to provide the LAMBDA service worldwide.
The DWDM network is built on the technology developed by Huawei Technologies, which over the long term has proven to be top quality and reliable and enables the transmitting of capacities up to n*1Gbps, n*10 Gbps and n*40 Gbps.
