IPTV


INTERNET PROTOCOL TV – A TV DISTRIBUTED VIA STANDARD TELECOMUNICATION PROTOCOL IP


IPTV stands for Internet Protocol TV, i.e. television distributed with the help of standard IP telecommunication protocol. A complex solution of IPTV and Video on Demand services, chiefly aimed at a simple installation and integration of multimedia services for end customers.

The service is designed for local operators and ISPs for the distribution of television broadcast on IP protocol to own end users through own local infrastructure. The service is suitable for ISPs, who service their customers on optic networks.

The solution is offered in the form of complex outsourcing based on a provisional system when partner of the Dial Telecom - AIM Networks is in charge of essential elements for the service operation.

 

 

  • Securing the service contents by the company having the registration for external TV and radio broadcasting disseminated purely digitally in RRTV, as well as other related requisites
  • Preparing the program supply, or division in packets
  • Securing legislative and legal, as well as contractual relations with respect to contents owners
  • Meeting obligations to contents owners and copyright protection organizations (OSA, Intergram, Dilia, IFPI, OHS, or others)
  • Securing the signal of IPTV channels for the purposes of a further distribution (head-end, the so-called signal acquiring)
  • Securing a distribution network in the framework of the CR for the purposes of the IPTV signal distribution
  • Securing the services of Electronic Program Guide (EPG)

Electronic Program Guide (EPG)

  • During the selection of a channel, an abbreviated version is displayed (current program + 2 following ones)
  • A detailed description of broadcast programs, including images, available for the most watched channels
  • Access to the timeshift function solved through the access to EPG history
